There are a few things to know before planning your
kitchen. First and most important is the floor plan
itself...see below.
This is what
you need to draw out and bring in with the above
questionnaire.
Use one of the above common layouts as your model

Carefully measure the floor space in your
kitchen, noting window and door openings.
Good kitchen designs are based on a concept
called the "balanced triangle" which organizes
space, traffic patterns, and appliances around work
centers.
For maximum efficiency, the three sides of
your balanced triangle should total from 12 to 24 feet when
added together.
